okay so, I go to the school which produced reggie bush and alex smith, just a facts for you guys (helix high school). Well I'm in my senior year know and I have a 3.2 unweighted gpa, but a 3.6 weighted gpa, suprisingly I've always been that lazy smart kid. The kid who doesn't turn in homework and still pulls off an A in the test. All my teachers hated me for that, except my math teacher who actually believed in the same notion that I did... "Homework is practice". Well i have a high sat score, 2150...32 ACT. I also did some sports nothing major just some jv sports and I have over 60 hours of community service and I was a member and vice president of the muslim club. I'm also from somalia, which makes me somali, but since they don't have a section for that on race question, I check african american. My whole throat and head areas has pains that come and go.?

Your games I think would average about �10 each so you would probably be a good way towards getting an XBox if you talk to the guy in the shop you might even get a straight swap because trade in on XBoxes are about half what the PS3 is.

1st of all be wary of the guy offering you a loan via Yahoo! Answers. 2nd when you go to medical school you most likely will have to take out loans from the federal government. It is understood that you will not be able to work during this time, and most schools factor in a cost of living expense for their area when giving out their tuition/fees. So you would be basically living off loans for 4 years. It's not so bad because in the end the benefits are great, and government loans generally have a low interest rate. However, be very careful borrowing from private lenders, even legitimate ones because they can have high and variable interest rates. I'd contact some of the schools you're interested in, and ask them about financial aid for med students.

Accidently Swallowing a Small piece of straw wrapper?

So I got a cup of water from a fast food place and obviously I had to use a straw. So when I put my straw in my cup and started gulping down water, I felt something like paper go down my throat. My straw wrapper has a chunk of it missing which is probably what I swallowed. I'm not too worried but my dad told me this story that this girl forgot to take the sticker off her apple and then she ate it and had to get surgery because somehow the sticker got into her lungs. Froggy died - what to do with the rest of the tank?

So my boyfriend is a preschool teacher and he has a 5-gallon fishtank in his clroom. He used to have a betta in it, but the kids were totally uninterested so said betta is now with me at work. He restocked the tank last week with a snail, frog, small cory, two guppies, a neon tetra, a zebra danio, and one other teeny schooling fish I don't remember the name of. Anyway, they were put in the tank (conditioned water that sat 24 hours, plants, a little shipwreck etc - it's great little tank now) I believe on Wednesday afternoon. Everyone seemed fine, all the fishies were schooling together, other critters happily moving around. Over the weekend he installed a heater and a thermostat so he could monitor the temperature, and dropped in a weekend feeder. But this morning when he went back to the clroom poor froggy was belly up. He said the tank smells to high heaven too. I'm wondering what (besides obviously removing the dead critter) is the best next course of action to preserve the health and longevity of the rest of the inhabitants?

I absolutly love the sims games and i have for a few years but my parents just dont think theyre appropriate for me. I'm 14 years old and they dont think that i should be playing them but i know of entire brownie troops that play the sims games whos parents have no problem with them. i think my parents are being a little to over protective with this becuase its not like i havent played them before, plus i know whats in them and i know how to avoid it but they just wont listen to me. Well, the best foods are natural foods such as nuts, meats, fruits and veg. Try to eat small and often every 2 -3 hours. When working out you only need to do 3- 4 days a week with weight training and interval training such as 30 seconds hard with 30 seconds rest. The answerer does have a valid point. Young people in our culture do start having adult relationships physically before they are ready mentally. With so many families having both mother and father working, it makes it difficult to keep watch on everything our teenagers do. I know as a teenager of 14, my mom allowed me to go out and go steady with guys. I enjoyed the freedom then and thought it was cool, but now I wish that she had been a little stricter. Because of what I did when I was young, I keep a closer watch on my kids. My 17 year old son has only gone out in groups, does not have a girlfriend and has not dated yet. I have seen many parents even push the issue with young kids of 10 or so. They begin asking about having a boyfriend in a teasing way. I think this sets a stage of it being acceptable. There are too many teen pregnancies and parents really have to limit the freedoms given to teenagers.

Good relief from anxeity b4 I go crazy?

I been dealing with anxeity disorder forever. I tool zoloft years ago and don't rememeber if it helped any or not. I have ocd too and my brain races. The local doc said I am depressed(which I don't feel)and prescribed prozac saying it was the best for the combo of the 3. After taking it immdediatly made me feel depressed. I was crying for no reason,and felt a heavy dread over me. She begged me to keep taking but I got off it and went back to my old anxious self. Since then I found a all natural pill called vilift that has helped some. Mainly takes the chest tightness away which I seem to live with. My meds are coming late in the mail so I been without for 2 days and the chest tightness is back full force. I know I won't die and all that. But these feelings are miserable and I want to be normal again. I can't drive anywhere and been trapped to my local area. Which has nothing but 2 gas stations and a grocery store. Feels like prison. I was seeing a counsler but she was a student training. I'm going back to her wensday. But I'm really scared to take meds cuz I'm scared of felling different then having the stuff stuck in me for 2 weeks if I decide to not take it. Is there anything out there that someone can reccomend that will help relax my thoughts and chest tightness that won't make me feel really dofferent. Don't want to feel al high or anything or I will panic. I'm so confused,so much so I'm not even sure if what I'm asking will make sense to anyone. But all answers are appreciated

I've tried using every driver I can possibly find for this card and nothing fixes it! When my baby wakes up in the night, I will feed him and he goes to sleep, but then wakes up 30 min. later and he cries. I don't know how to get him back to sleep. Yea I'd put you in your early 20's, you have that innocence of youth in your eyes, not that you're innocent just a sparkle the eyes give off, hard to really explain till you're older I guess LOL There's nothing wrong with dating someone that old, especially since you are 19. You're legal to do whatever you want and so is he. Twisted by some yes, but not illegal by any means. Very few of these relationships work, but when they do it's magic. The only thing that should deter you from liking someone is if they are mean and abusive, a good guy is hard to find at any age! Trust me I'm a guy and I know how hard it is to find decent men out there. Go for some lunch, some coffee, something small, dinner is too romantic and intimate for such an early meeting. Something small and simple like a lunch is perfect for talking and getting to know each other, and finding if you have anything in common, he lived in a different time so it may be hard to find mutual topics to discuss. If yours has to be, due to equipment limitations, I would suggest going straight along the edges of what appears to be a square or diamond. It's not made of blocks (or it doesn't look like it is) but the eye will divide it that way when you look at the whole thing. Stand back, look at your quilt, and see where your eye runs. Quilt along the lines your eye uses to divide the whole into manageable sections.

I know that popular means just having a lot of people that like you but that is not how it is at my school. And being voted the most intelligent person at school doesn't help me. I know that I won't remember half the kids at my school in 10 years, but right now I really want to be considered a little bit cool. And the girls who are considered popular all used to be my friends but now because I stood up to them when they bullied another girl a couple years ago at recess, they all hate me. (I do know that one day I will be better off than them but I still want to be popular.)

Is it okay to keep my guinea pig cage on the FLOOR?

i have a smallish pet store cage (24" x 24") and i keep the cage door open and attatch my guinea pigs playpen to it for more room. in the outer part i just put down a towel and fleece blanket. i was thinking of doing away with the cage completely and just using the playpen but idk cause i have no floor thing for him besides blanket & towels and my parents wont lemme buy anything else. anyways in the winter the floors are heated. is this bad for him? what should i do? should i just keep him in his petstore cage and put him on a table or use the playpen grids to make a larger cage but keep it on the floor?!?!?!

My science teacher did this experiment. She attached to wires to the battery. On the positive side of the crocodile hook or smth, she attached a copper plate, and on the negative a coin. she placed both of these in a copper sulphate solution in a beaker. She said that the copper ions in the copper plate would break down and get stuck to the coin. What if i reverse this? Positive side - coin, negative side - copper plate. Will the ions of the i think silver coin break down and get stuck to the copper plate or will it not stick. And when the plate breaks down, how come i can't see a bit of it chipped off??? I mean how come it doesn't kind of disappear?

Can A Boy Wear UGG Clic Tall Boots?

My boyfriend ( we are both 14 and live in Buffalo where its cold) wears the UGG Clic short boots. He has them in Chestnut for all the time wear and the Camo colors(brown/tan camo and blue/gray camo) for hunting. He plays street hockey with his friends and wanted to borrow my UGG Clic Tall boots. I told him "no" because I was affraid he would ruin them.I know the Clic short UGG boots are basically "uni" and come in both mens and womans sizes but the Clic Tall boots only come in womans sizes.My b/f does NOT tuck his jeans into his UGG boots (it does look gay even though shoes don't determine ones uality) but wears bootcut jeans over his UGG boots so basically you can't tell if he has the Clic short or Classic Tall UGG boots on. I use the Atkins shakes on my low carb diet, but I use them like a slim-fast plan...3 a day, 1 morning, 1 at lunch, 1 mid-afternoon snack, and a small protein meal at night. Varies. If I only want to eat part of it and save the rest for later or share some of it with friends, I'll break it up. Same usually if I want to take my time eating it or don't want to stuff my mouth. Sometimes though I just want to scarf it down so I'll simply bite into it.

I made a pot roast today ... been in the crock pot for hours now and as I was adding other ingredients such as carrots and onions (added later so the carrots wont fall apart) I realized I don't have any potatos. It's not anymore. There are positive and negatives about this. I'm stuck in between. Yes it does cause a bit of a hazard when they do that but it's no different then an actual police cruiser. Think of all those crazy reckless teens that go way over the speed limit..until they see a cop, keeps them from thinking, "hey there aren't any reds and blues around, lets make driving dangerous for everyone on the road." Plus it is a good way to catch drug dealers. Well....here is my thought. You know in that interview she did, and she said that the last time she drove a stock car was at a "lil ole track called Greenville/Pickens Speedway" in South Carolina. Well it just so happens that I live in Greenville, 5 min away from that little track. First of all, she is stupid because she obviously doesn't understand that Greenville Pickens speedway is one of the oldest Nascar tracks around. Ralph Earnhart got his start here, Jr still comes every year to practice here and meet fans. The likes of Gordon, Earnhart, etc come here and practice. When she was here racing she wasn't any good. Yes I have called the doctors, I have been trying all morning and when I finally got thru she put me to a nurse who didnt answer and hasnt returned my call and its been a couple hrs..!
