Guy please.. help me out with a problem about e.mail?

I got yahoo emails and Some1 who has hotmail has sent me a message even twice.. but I didnt get anything!.. she says that I can get emails even from hotmail.. then what is the prolblem?? Does my email store emails from hotmail somewhere else? If so where?? because I cant find it!!! Please hlp me out I really need to c that email so 10 points for sure to the best answer!!
