Why hasn't the liberal media uncovered more of the hidden facts on Oil Slick Katrina?

If Bush or Nixon were POTUS they would be printing leaks every day from White House and Executive branch insiders, as well as from their secret contact at BP, "Deep Hole". Instead they are swallowing all the sludge BP is spewing out about "light at the end of the tunnel" with every sloppy half-baked scheme they throw at it.
