Why were Lily, James, Sirius & Remus able to disappear after Harry dropped the stone?

I do believe your right. thats what was my understanding after reading the book. Im not too happy with rowling tho, the ending of the the last book sucked really bad. she like gave up towards the end and just wrote what would be the obvious answer, not the correct one.
