Who here likes "As time goes by" staring Judi Dench and Geoffrey Palmer? Or other...?

I have always believed that the English are better at acting because so many of them have former stage experience before moving on to the silver screen. Americans are more interested in a pretty face than one who can truly act. Anyone who remembers the PBS series "Upstairs Downstairs" from the 70s will attest that even their minor character actors are far superior.
