Where to find images of earth's circular plates under the ocean?

I saw this image only once, it had shown 1000 mile wide appx. circular plates all around the earth, evidient mostly on the ocean floor, but when I pull up images I don't see the circular plates now, just the top surface. It's some kind of imagery I must have seen?
