I am getting married next October and my mom wants to walk me down the isle?

I am getting married October, 2009 and my mom has this idea that since my dad ped 15 years ago she should walk her daughters down the isle when we get married. This is my 2nd wedding and I prefer my son who is in the military as the one that I want to walk me to my future husband, where I am getting married in a banquet hall not in any type of house of worship, in the past couple of years 2 of my sisters have been married and my mother did not escort them down the isle, my fiance says it is not her place to walk me that he thinks the next person in line would actually be my son, or walk alone, I should note also that I have no other males relatives except in-laws. any suggestions would be welcome or anyone else in my spot what did you do???
